Description

The tribe had settled in for the night until there was an unexpected crack of a branch nearby. It was too close to dismiss.

Something a little bit different than my usual pony art. I really want to expand my portfolio and I love lions. They are such interesting and surprisingly emotional creatures with their facial expressions. :3

It took me awhile to get these poses right (crouching is hard to draw naturally). And I played around a bit with their hair. Yes, papa lion has gauge earrings. Also...I didn't mark this as mature because there is nothing sexual or violent about it, but do you think I should because of lion boobies? I am treating them like they were African bushmen so clothes just seem ridiculous to me, but I don't want to offend.

This looks awesoooome...I do think you may want to put on the mild mature content, my friend Steph got her art flagged for completely non sexual boobage (eh guess nudity is just always gonna bother somebody), but yeah it's looking really cool! I love the more naturalistic lion look to them, rather than say the super toony furry look.
